Retail Remodeling in Dallas, TX
Store remodels live or die on two things: how quickly you're trading again, and whether the new layout actually moves people past the product you want them to see.
Layout is merchandising
A retail remodel is a merchandising exercise that happens to involve construction. The decisions that matter:
- The entry zone. The first few metres inside the door where customers adjust and rarely buy. Wasting it on product is the most common shopfit mistake.
- The path. How you move people through the store and past what you want them to see.
- Sightlines. Fixture heights that let someone at the door see the back of the store. Tall fixtures near the entrance kill a store's depth.
- Where the counter goes. Visible from the door for security and service, without blocking the path.
- Fitting rooms, where applicable — the highest-conversion square metres in the store, and usually the most neglected.
What we build
Full interior shopfit:
- Display joinery, gondolas, wall systems and feature fixtures.
- Sales counters and cash wraps with power, data and security integration.
- Fitting rooms with the lighting, mirrors and accessibility compliance they need.
- Flooring rated for retail traffic, plus zoned lighting for general, accent and display.
- Shopfront glazing, entrance and signage support.
- Back of house — stockroom fit-out, staff areas and receiving.

Trading through it
Retail is the sector where lost trading days are easiest to measure, so we plan around them explicitly:
- Overnight working for anything noisy or dusty, with the store presentable before opening.
- Half-store phasing with a proper hoarding line — printed and branded rather than bare plywood, because it's visible to every customer.
- Short closure where it's genuinely cheaper. For a full refit, a concentrated two-week closure often beats eight weeks of trading around a hoarding. We'll put the numbers side by side.
- Seasonal timing. Nobody refits in the run-up to the trading peak. Where the timeline is tight, we phase to have the sales floor complete first and finish back of house afterwards.
