What the consultation involves

About an hour at your house. We measure the space properly, look at the things that determine what's possible — where the plumbing runs, whether a wall is load-bearing, what the ceiling and soffits will allow — and talk through what you want the room to do.

You'll get a realistic budget range on the day. Not a number designed to get us to the next meeting: the actual range, including the parts people usually forget.

Then what

If you want to proceed, we move to design — layout drawings, 3D views and a full materials list. Once the scope is genuinely resolved, you get a fixed-price proposal and a written schedule.

What we'll need from you

• A rough sense of budget. Not to spend it — to tell you honestly what's achievable, and to stop us designing something that was never going to work.
• Your timeline, especially if there's a fixed date involved.
• Photos of anything you like, if you have them. Far more useful than adjectives.
• Access to the space, including under the sink and inside a base cabinet or two.
